Most people only see the finished piece — a memento, a display box, a sign panel — without ever seeing what goes into acrylic moulding to get there. Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how we shape custom acrylic products in our Doha workshop.

Step 1: Cutting the Sheet

Every project starts with laser or CNC-cutting acrylic sheet to the exact dimensions and shape needed, whether that’s a flat panel, a box template, or a complex custom outline. Laser cutting also gives clean, polished edges straight off the machine.

Step 2: Heating & Forming

For anything that needs a curve, fold or three-dimensional shape — a display box, a curved trophy, a formed sign — the acrylic is carefully heated until pliable, then moulded over a jig or mould to set its final shape. Getting the temperature right is critical: too little heat and it cracks, too much and it loses clarity.

Step 3: Finishing & Assembly

Once formed, edges are polished, printing or engraving is applied, and any multi-piece assemblies — like boxes with separate lids, or layered mementos — are bonded using acrylic-specific adhesive for an invisible, durable join.
